Sunday, July 9–Saturday, July 22, 2017, Residential-Only Program
Young artists draw inspiration from the world around them. In this course, you will explore the notion of artist as scientist, researcher, and explorer. You will develop your observational drawing, painting, and mixed media skills by studying nature both on and off campus. Think about finding inspiration in dinosaur bones, botanicals, animals, and cells and then recording, interpreting, and creatively experimenting based on your observations!
This course will include field trips to the Museum of Natural History, Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, and other exciting and inspiring New York City venues.
